Refund & Replacement Policy

At Root & Linen Studio, each candle is thoughtfully hand-poured in small batches using carefully chosen ingredients and natural materials. Our process is rooted in craftsmanship and intention — no two pieces are exactly alike. We take pride in every candle we create and want you to love the experience from the moment it arrives to the final flicker.


Our Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction means the world to us. If there’s ever an issue with your order, we promise to make it right with care and integrity. Every inquiry is handled personally by our small team to ensure that your experience reflects the same warmth and attention we pour into our candles.


Damaged or Defective Items

While we take great care in packaging, candles are delicate and may occasionally arrive damaged or with a manufacturing defect.
If this happens, please reach out to us within 7 days of delivery at rootlinenstudio@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Once verified, we will be happy to replace the item with a new one at no additional cost to you.
If the exact scent or style is unavailable, we’ll offer a comparable replacement or a full refund to your original payment method.

Shipping fees will also be refunded if the damage occurred during shipping or was due to our error.


Eligibility Guidelines

To qualify for a replacement or refund:

  • Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • The candle must be unused, unburned, and in its original packaging.
  • Claims made after this period or for used products may not be eligible.

Because our candles are hand-poured into artisan concrete vessels, each one will have its own unique tones, textures, and subtle variations. These natural differences are part of the beauty of our handmade process and are not considered defects. Please note that minor variations in color, texture, or scent strength may occur and are a hallmark of handcrafted work — no two candles or vessels are ever identical.


Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after confirmation.
We’ll notify you by email once your refund or replacement has been arranged.


Returns & Exchanges

To maintain the integrity and safety of our handmade products, we do not accept general returns or exchanges for change of mind or scent preference.
We kindly ask that you double-check your selections before completing your order, and we’re always here to answer scent or product questions before you buy.
